Montevallo Artwalk debuts Saturday | Arts & Culture

The first-ever Montevallo artwalk will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 in downtown Montevallo. The city and University of Montevallo are collaborating to display artwork created by local artists, including UM students, at 20 different venues downtown.

Artwork on display and for sale will range from photography to painting to sculpture. Performance art such as chain-saw sculpting and live entertainment will also be part of the first-ever artwalk event. The city and University plan to hold an artwalk three times each year--fall, spring and summer.
